Cerner Corporation is the founding sponsor of KC Power Source and continues to provide many of the resources necessary to make KC Power Source camps possible. The Cerner team worked to conceptualize the camp, facilitated the summer 2012 sessions and continues to staff the KC Power Source camps today.

Sprint Corporation

Sprint Corporation joined the KC Power Source network in 2013 and serves as the primary provider of all mobile technology used at KC Power Source camps. The Sprint team is also hosting a camp session at their Overland Park facilities.

Sprint Nextel offers a comprehensive range of communications services bringing mobility to consumer, business and government customers. Sprint Nextel is widely recognized for developing, engineering and deploying innovative technologies, including two robust wireless networks.





Google Fiber

Google joined KC Power Source in Spring 2013 with a focus on expanding access to KC Power Source camps for students in KCMO and KCK. Partnering with UMKC, Google will host two camps this summer open to students in those areas.

Beginning in Spring 2013, residents in Kansas City, MO and Kansas City, KS will become the first in the country to experience the Google Fiber network, a new era of broadband with connection speeds 100 times faster than traditional internet services. Instant downloads and crystal clear high definition TV merely represent the start of what Google Fiber can offer its users.



Wexford Institute

Wexford, Inc. is a non-profit educational agency supporting KC Power Source by providing financial services support and lending their expertise in program research and evaluation.

Wexford collaborates with school districts, universities, and other educational agencies to develop and improve educational programs and services for PreK-16 educators, students and their families, that focus on closing the achievement gap. Founded in 1996, Wexford Inc is a non-profit educational agency with a focus on improving learning opportunities and outcomes for students—especially those from low income families and those for whom English is their second language.
